This week in Hereford Class

This week in Hereford Class, we continue with our subtraction journey in Maths. Year 1 will be using images to calculate and Y2 will be using both mental and written methods to calculate subtraction of 2, two digit numbers.

In English, we finish writing our independent stories and we will be moving onto letter writing. We will be looking at the features of letters, boxing them up into order, comprehending a letter and its structure as well as writing the start of some letters, for different purposes.

In RE we will begin to look at our topic of 'What do Christians believe God is like?' We will begin by exploring how Christians show their belief in God.

In the Amberley Immersion Curriculum, we will begin a new unit in Geography - we will be studying the UK, exploring the countries, capital cities and some of the human and physical features there.
