This week in Hereford Class
This week we begin a new Amberley Immersion Curriculum topic. We will start a PSHE journey: All about me. Please refer to the overview attached, or on the class page for the types of discussions we will be having.
In RE we are looking at different places that people go to worship. We will be exploring Synagogues, Gurdwaras, Churches and Mosques.
In English we are breaking down the paragraphs of a recount. We are retelling the day of the Victorian Experience before we plan our own, following on from our Dodgeball Competition.
In Maths we are looking at commutativity and the inverse. Discussing how addition and subtraction and multiplication and division can be used alongside each other to check and calculate calculations.
We have class photos on Tuesday 13th June 2023 so please ensure that the children have their full school uniform.
Our Dodgeball Competition is on Wednesday so please ensure that children come into school with their PE kits. They will also need a packed lunch, as we may not be back in time for school dinners. Please also ensure they have a water bottle and are wearing sun cream.
