This week in Hereford Class

Welcome back Hereford families. I cannot believe that we are in the final term of the academic year!

This week we continue with measurement in maths - we are looking at volume. Year 2 are measuring volume whilst Year 1 compare.

In English, we start a new writing journey of recounts. We will be recounting our Victorian Experience with Steve from Humph's Histories. We will find the features, box it up, comprehend and then break down the paragraphs, using our success criteria.

In the Amberley Immersion Curriculum we are completing Art - Drawing. The skills can be found on our class page. We will be using thick and thin lines, colouring neatly, using tints and tones, and adding lines and dots to create texture.

In RE, we explore our new value of Respect and the parable of 'Moses and The Burning Bush.' We will also be thinking about special and sacred places in the Christian, Islamic and Jewish faiths.

We have our dodgeball tournament coming up so please ensure you have returned the slips so that the children can attend. Without the slip, the children will stay behind at school. If you can help with transport, please let us know.
