This week in Hereford Class

Well it's the last week of term. The Nativity has finished and WOW, what a performance! I am so proud of all of the children and the show that they put on! Well done Hereford Class - and to Dexter too, your support and singing was amazing! A special thank you to the Dexter parents who bought their children back for the evening performance!

The children absolutely loved the Pantomime of Cinderella and we are really grateful to the Friends of Amberley for organising this for us.

This week we are completing a Computing Unit on Programming. We will be using the Beebots kindly lent by Marling. We will be using individual commands and will identify what each floor robot command does and use that knowledge to start predicting the outcome of programs.

We will be finishing our RE topic of faith communities. We have compared the Islamic welcoming ceremony to a Christian baptism and next we will be looking at how Christians and Jews show that they belong to one another through marriage and what matters about being in a community.

A reminder that we finish at 1.30pm on Thursday and children return to school on Wednesday 5th January 2022. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
