This week in Hereford Class

We are excited to have planned out autobiographies and this week, we are showing what we know by writing our own, in full. We are using everything that we have been taught to show our understanding and write independently. Thank you so much for completing the planning form. All children had completed this and are able to get stuck into retelling their lives. Some of the stories have had Mrs Apew and I in fits of laughter. Thank you for sharing!

In Maths we are learning to tell the time. Year 1 will be learning o'clock and half past whilst Year 2 will look at quarter to/past as well as 5 minute intervals. Any additional practice of this at home would be really beneficial.

We continue out Paul Klee artwork this week and will finish off projects that have been started and then create one final piece. We would love for you all to come into school and see these pieces, on Thursday after school. Please come in from 3.15pm to see the inspiration that we have taken, to create our own pieces.

In RE, we will continue our journey from last week, where we were looking at how people treat the world and how many different religions have teachings in order to treat the world and others with respect.

A letter was sent home on Friday about a trip to Nature In Art. Please return the slip and make payment via school money at your earliest convenience.
