This week in Friesian Class...

This week in Friesian Class we will be deepening our understanding of the religion of Hinduism to understand their thoughts on the create, destroy and preserve theory. We will also be learning about the idea of 'Moksha'.

In maths, Year 3 will be starting off with adding multiples of hundreds before moving forward with their addition and subtraction unit. Year 4 will be learning about rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000.

In English, we will be finishing our traditional tale story writing unit by writing the problem, resolution and ending, before starting our new non-fiction unit: Non-chronological reports.

In Immersion Curriculum, we will be well-rounded citizens in PSHE and we will be covering a variety of milestones regarding Respecting Ourselves and Others. To look at the milestones that we will be covering, please look at the topic map on our class page.

A letter was sent out on Friday regarding our school trip on the 18th October to Cadbury World! This school trip links to our next Immersion Curriculum topic: DT Dessert. Please ensure these letters are returned ASAP to Miss Rudge or Mrs Russell in the school office and the money is paid via School Money.

Thank you so much to all of the children, parents and family members who joined us in the church for our Harvest service! The children were an absolute credit to the school and it was so lovely to have them there.

As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me.

Miss Rudge
