This week in Friesian Class...

This week in Friesian Class we are continuing our work with place value in maths to compare and order numbers. We will be making sure to look at the BIGGEST column in order to decide which number is bigger.

In English, we will be continuing our traditional tale story writing unit by writing the opening, build up, problem, resolution and ending of Cinderella following Miss Rudge's modelled writing. We will be focusing on including out strong sentence success criteria.

In RE, we will be developing our knowledge of the religion of Hinduism, specifically the way that Hindus worship. We will be learning about the Hindu form of worship called 'Puja'.

In Immersion Curriculum, we are Geographers and we are learning about the European country Italy. For more information about the learning objectives that we will be covering, please visit our class page to look at the overview. We will be using our geography skills to locate Italy, find human and physical features, as well as finding similarities and differences to our country.

Our Harvest assembly is on Thursday 6th October at 9:05am. We would love for the Y3/4 parents/carers to join us!

As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me.

Many thanks,

Miss Rudge
