This week in Friesian Class...

This week in Friesian Class we are planning and writing our own recounts in English. We are remembering the knowledge from our Europe topic in Geography to write a recount about visiting that country. In maths, Y3 are moving onto telling the time and Y4 are continuing their work with money. We have been comparing and ordering amounts of money before we move onto adding and subtracting amount of money to find change.

In RE, we will be continuing to investigate the type of world that Jesus wanted by looking at the work carried out by 'fishers of people', linking this to our community.

In Immersion Curriculum, we are Scientist! We are learning about living things and their habitats and we will be learning how to use and create our own classification keys (this may include a tasty treat!). We will be discussing what living things get from their habitats and deciding how we can create the perfect habitat for a living thing, as well as thinking about how we can protect the habitats that already exist. More information about our last topic of the term can be found on our class page.

As the warmer weather approaches, please ensure that your child has a clearly labelled water bottle in school. This needs to be brought home and washed each day.

As always, if you have any questions, please email me. A direct link to my email can be found on the Friesian Class page.
