This week in Friesian Class

This week in English, we are starting on narrative texts and looking at texts from stories set in a world of unusual things. This is in preparation for writing a story based on a short film from the Literacy Shed website. In maths, we are looking at the relationship between addition and subtraction, and how we can estimate and use the inverse to check our work. In RE, we have already looked at a range of ceremonies from different religions and compared them. The children made some keen observations and were able to recall details from previous learning. In our topic work this week, we have continued to find out about Stonehenge and the children have been thinking about why they think it was created and what it was used for.

We are looking forward to seeing you at sports' day on Friday and at the Summer Sizzle afterwards.
