This week in Friesian Class…

This week in Friesian Class we will be continuing our Place Value maths journey with comparing and ordering 3-digit and 4-digit numbers. We will also be learning how to round numbers. In English, we will be finishing off our story writing journey with writing the resolution and ending, reinventing and writing our own versions of Little Red Riding Hood. In RE, we will be continuing to think about the Creation Story, the story of The Fall and Salvation and its importance to Christians.

In Immersion Curriculum, we are Historians learning about the Romans. We will be starting off with understanding chronology, time lines and where the Romans fit in the bigger picture of history. We will also be learning about the daily life of a Roman.

The children had a fantastic time last Friday creating RE nature art with Mrs Apew. I posted a blog post last Friday with pictures!

The children will have their books changed tomorrow and then again on Thursday, if they need to be changed. Please ensure that you are reading with your child whenever possible and recording this in their reading record.
