This week in Friesian Class

After a great start to the new term, this week in Friesian Class we are starting a new English journey of recount writing. This week we will be understanding the purpose, finding the features, boxing up and comprehending a recount written by a character from one of our favourite picture books. In maths, we are developing our fractions knowledge further by problem solving using fractions, investigating equivalent fractions and exploring fractions greater than one whole. In RE, we will be starting our new topic on Christianity, answering the overarching question: ‘For Christians, what was the impact of the Pentecost?’. In Immersion Curriculum, we are scientists! We will be examining and investigating Forces and Magnets – exploring how magnets work, magnetic materials and even creating our own games!
