This Week in Friesian Class

This week in Friesian class, we have already kicked off Monday with District Sports. A huge well done to all the children involved, and a big thank you to Mrs Flight, Mrs Harbord and Mrs Stevens for taking them.

Throughout the week, we will be taking part in lots of rehearsals as preparations for the play continue. I am sure that you have heard many of the songs already - it is shaping up well and the children are very enthusiastic.

In maths, we will be recapping on some of our work on time and on angles from earlier in the term, as well as taking part in the rapid recall challenge to see who can make it into the next club before the end of the year!

In English, we will be finishing our adventure story based on The Wild Robot, and will be continuing to read Stig of the Dump.

On Wednesday morning, children will be spending time with their new class mates as part of our transition for next year. I am looking forward to seeing the Year 2s come to join us, but will be sad to start thinking of the year 4 moving on.
