This Week in Friesian Class
This week is Sky Arts Access all Arts week, and we will be celebrating in school by taking part in a number of different activities. There will be interviews with musicians, authors and artists and we will learn about how different areas of 'the arts' are represented within modern day careers. Each day, we will have a different focus and will be looking at different aspects of the artistic world, from poetry to jazz, story telling to digital art!
Alongside this, we will be continuing some of our usual lessons, and in maths we will be learning about angles and shapes. The Year 4 children have worked hard to increase their times tables recall, and last week completed the statutory online multiplication tables check. Well done to all of them! I will be encouraging them to continue the practise though, to see if they can make the target of getting into the 77 club before the end of term!
