This week in Friesian Class

This week, we will be celebrating our learning so far this year with a series of quizzes to identify areas of learning that we need to focus on before the end of the year, and areas that we have succeeded in making good progress. The children are always so positive about this work, and it is wonderful to see them aiming so high and taking pride in their achievements.

In our immersion curriculum time, we will be focused on similarities and differences between families and the loving and supportive relationships they can provide. We will look at how families can look very different; how some are biological and others not, how some have single children or single parents, some are blended families, some children are cared for by their grandparents, etc. This week is National Mental Health Awareness week, and as such, we will be looking at what we can do to help ourselves and others in taking care of ourselves and maintaining good mental health.

In computing, we will be adding the finishing touches to our Power Points on changing habitats, before presenting them to the class to show what we have learned, and teach others about what we can do to help prevent habitat loss.
