This Week in Friesian Class
This week, we will be working as scientists as we start a new immersion unit on animals and their habitats.
On Monday afternoon, we are hoping to investigate the microhabitats of the guardianship, so children will need a pair of wellies/ outdoor shoes. If the weather is unfavourable, then we will postpone until Tuesday.
In English, we will be continuing our work on explanation texts and later in the week, will plan an independent write based on some of the research we will undertake during guided reading, further informing our science work.
In maths, we will be working with money and will be developing our calculation and problem solving skills.
I would like to give a big thank you to those who accompanied the children to cross country last week - your support is, as ever, greatly appreciated. The children really did us proud!
This weekend is, of course, the Amberley Cow Hunt. I look forward to catching up with lots of you over soap suds and cake, and around the village!
