This Week in Friesian Class
This week, we will be working as playwrights in English, as we write our own plays set during the Roman occupation of Britain. We will also be continuing our reading journey with our new book, The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. I have really enjoyed the links that the children have already made with our past books, and how they have noticed some of the same adventurous language being used!
In maths, we will be completing our units on fractions (year 3) and decimals (year 4) in preparations for next week's work on money.
In computing, we will be learning about manipulating and editing images and will have a go and making changes to some simple photos using editing software.
Our immersion time will be spent researching the River Severn and using our computing skills to create a presentation for the class.
We are very excited that during music on Friday, we will be learning the samba drums. We look forward to inviting you in to hear our progress at the end of our ten week block of lessons.
