This Week in Friesian Class

It's hard to believe that we are already in the last week of term!

We are very much looking forward to sharing our Easter celebration with you on Wednesday morning, and look forward to seeing you in church at 9am.

This week, in maths, Year 3 will be focused on mass, capacity and volume, and Year 4 will be focused on calculating with fractions. We will be continuing our work on rapid recall of times tables facts and recalling previous work on different calculation methods as normal.

In English, we will will be celebrating our work on Kensuke's Kingdom by planning and writing our own version of the book, before using our editing skills to proof read and improve our own work. The children have really enjoyed this novel and I am looking forward to seeing their finished work.

In our curriculum time, we will be working as artists and will be exploring the work of Ben Heine, a Belgian visual artist, and creating our own art works in the same style. We will look at drawing techniques focused around creating the illusion of light, and will explore the idea of perspective in pencil drawing.

Please note that there are no clubs this week.
