This Week in Friesian Class

This week, Friesian class will be focused on multiplication and division in maths, and we look forward to welcoming Mrs Flight and Mr Beech to our lessons to show them what we have been up to. We will complete the Amberley Rapid Recall Challenge on Thursday.

In English, we will be continuing our work on 'The Tunnel', a short story by Pie Corbett set during WW2 in the area around Sapperton. We will be looking at how to build tension and suspense in our writing.

In guided reading, we will be finishing Empire's End: A Roman Story, and will begin our next novel, Kensuke's Kingdom by Micheal Morpurgo.

In immersion curriculum time, we will be continuing as scientists, and learning about food chains and webs and how creatures adapt to their environments. You are welcome to join us to celebrate our learning on Thursday, straight after school, where we will be hosting The Big Bone Quiz.

Next week, we will be working as artists and are in need of old magazines that we can cut up. If you have any spare, we would be really grateful if you could please send them in. Thank you.
