This Week in Friesian Class

This week, we will be continuing our work, in maths, on place value and will be looking at how 3 and 4 digit numbers are represented and partitioned. We will also be having the year's first attempt at the rapid recall challenge.

In English, we will be starting the write our own biographies, using the model text about Chico Mendes, a Brazilian rubber tapper who bought the plight of those living in the Amazon, and the rainforest itself, to international attention.

We will be spending our immersion curriculum time as scientists where we will be learning all about electricity over the next two weeks.

In computing, we will find out more about computer networks and will learn about how the internet works.

The children have had a really positive start to the year and we are so pleased with their efforts. Thank you all for your continued support! Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries.
