This Week in Friesian Class
This week, we will be continuing with our work as scientists and will be learning about forces and magnets. Be prepared for lots of magnet testing at home!
In maths, Year 4 will be applying their knowledge of formal subtraction to numbers with two decimal places, and Year 3 will be learning about the properties of 3d shape.
In English, we will be planning and writing our own stories which tell the same tale from 4 different points of view. The children have really enjoyed this unit and have made such wonderful attempts to change the 'voice' of each character!
In computing, we will be using block code to create images by writing algorithms to move a sprite around the screen.
We will also be spending time continuing to learn our parts and the songs for the upcoming KS2 performance. If you have not yet sent in your permission slip, please could we ask that you do so ASAP?
With the weather being so glorious at the moment, please make sure that your child brings in a clean, filled water bottle each day, and is prepared for breaks outside with sun cream and a hat.
