This Week in Friesian Class
This week in Friesian class, we will be spending our Immersion Curriculum time learning about health, wellbeing and safety. We will learn about household products that can cause harm, medicines, healthy lifestyle choices and much more!
In English, we will be beginning a new writing journey based on books which tell the same story from different points of view. We will be using Voices in the Park by Anthony Browne as our model text. The children have shown a great interest in this book which has a huge number of discussion points around the visual imagery, as well as the story itself.
In maths, Year 4 will be reviewing their learning so far in order to identify areas that will need further exploration, and Year 3 will be learning about angles. The Year 4 children will also be completing the statutory Multiplication Tables Check, which they have worked so hard on preparing for.
In RE, we will be looking at how different people celebrate significant events and will make comparisons between some of the main world faiths.
