This Week in Dexter Class

Welcome to Dexter Class! We are excited to introduce the children to life at Amberley and this week, we will be getting to know each other and the routines of the school day. We will be jumping straight in with our phonic learning and will be focusing on the sounds s,a,t and p, learning how to read and write them, and using them to create simple words. We will also have the chance to hear lots of stories, take part in crafts and roleplay, and explore the learning environment.

We will be finishing at 12pm each day this week, 12pm during week 2, 1.30pm during week 3 (when the children will have lunch at school), and will then be in full time (finishing at 3.15pm) from week 4.

Please could we ask that you make sure that your child has a clean, named water bottle within them in school each day, as well as waterproof trousers, a waterproof apron and wellies that can stay in school?
