This Week in Dexter Class

This week, we will be looking at pattern in maths, and will be attempting to complete, recreate and create repeating patterns of varying difficulty. We will also be consolidating our understanding of addition and subtraction using number lines.

In RE, we will be learning about the holy place for Muslim worship, the Mosque. We will be looking at key features and comparing different mosques from around the world, as well as noting similarities and differences with Christian churches.

In literacy, language and communication, we will be continuing our work on 'Where The Wild Things Are' by Maurice Sendak, and will be rewriting the story ourselves.

On Wednesday afternoon, whilst the KS2 show is on, we will be going on an extended welly walk with Hereford class. Please could you make sure that your child has some lightweight long trousers, a hat and sun cream (applied before school), and some sensible shoes/ wellies for walking in the long grass?
