This week in Dexter class
This week we will be looking at ordering events and sequencing time in maths, as well as looking at repeating patterns.
In phonics we will be continuing in two groups this week. Mrs Crampton and Mrs Smith's group will be applying their knowledge of the graphemes they have learned to longer words, whilst Mrs Smith and Mrs Lury's group will be learning alternative ways to spell the phonemes they are already familiar with.
We will start to look at character descriptions in our extended writing this week and will be looking at a variety of fairy tales.
We are looking forward to sharing the children's learning with you on Friday when we will be holding a Fantastic Friday open morning, which will be followed by Golden Book assembly.
