This Week in Dexter Class

This week, we will be continuing to learn more about the Nativity and will be retelling the story using props, and sand images.

In maths, we will be working on our subitising and partitioning skills, as well as measuring how long different activities takes, making estimates and timing each others. We will also be learning to order the days of the week and the seasons.

In English, we will be reading Owl Babies by Martin Whaddell, and will be taking part in a variety of activities based around nocturnal animals, woodland creatures and hibernation. On our welly walk, we will be making hedgehogs from clay and teasels and then creating a safe and warm space for them to hibernate in!
