This Week in Belted Galloway class

Well, our week in Grittleton was fantastic and the children were a credit to us all, and now we are back at school, tired but determined to use the skills we have learnt to further our learning. Mathematics this week will consist of developing written and mental multiplication skills, while in English we will be working on describing action in the events section of our narrative work. Our main focus in the afternoons this week will be Science based, where will be starting a two week block on Humans. This week, we will explore the circulatory system, the skeleton and the effect of aging. In RE we will be continuing our work on Islam, while we are all thoroughly enjoying the mysteries of the book The Nowhere Emporium, which is providing the children with huge opportunities to infer and predict.
