This Week in Belted Galloway Class

Hello! This is our final week in school before we embark on our residential adventure to Grittleton, so we will naturally be taking the time to talk to the children about ways they can handle any worries and anxieties they may have. I want the children to see that it is completely natural to feel worried, but I want them to see that we will support each other as a Belted Galloway team. Nerves and excitement go hand in hand, and we have an exciting week planned next week.

Before that, we will be completing a block of maths work on subtraction this week, while we will be developing our story writing structure, with particular emphasis on sentence starts and developing a variety here. In RE, we will be going further into our unit of work on being a Muslim in Britain today. Our Immersion Curriculum work will centre around mark making in art this week, as we focus on precision and technique.
