This Week in Belted Galloway Class

We have made it to the final week of the half term, and it's going to be an exciting one for many reasons. Firstly, the children will be finding out the parts they will play in the Summer Production, and we will start reading through the script. Secondly, we will be starting our new book, which is quite a dark and moving drama set during World War 2 that I feel will challenge the children in a number of ways. Thirdly, we will be having a GECKO challenge on Thursday, which will give the children a real chance to be creative and persistent in their problem solving. And, strange as it may seem to a number of adults, we will be tackling algebra in maths, and this is an area that really seems to excite a number of our class, which makes me very happy!
