This Week In Belted Galloway Class

This week has been an emotional one so far, what with the news we received on Monday, but it has also been a positive and industrious one. I have been delighted with the children's drive and resilience, notably in the way they have taken responsibility for their learning and the way they have handled the problems and puzzles they have been presented with.

PSHCE is our focus subject this week, and in our block of work on Family and Friends, we have looked at relationships and the way these can develop as children grow. We have focussed on the difference between healthy and unhealthy friendships and relationships, with a specific focus on the nature of coercive or controlling behaviour and ways to stand up against this.
