This Week In Belted Galloway Class

Welcome back and happy new year. The outline for this term will be sent out as a letter this week, and will also appear on the Belted Galloway part of the website later in the week, and this outlines topics and content for the term. This week, we will be starting our term with a GECKO Maths: I am sure your children have mentioned this, but to confirm, GECKO is a collaborative and co-operative problem solving session that focussing on communication and perseverance. It is lively, challenging and fun: a great way to start the term. We will them embark on a few weeks of learning about fractions in maths. English will centre around the different types of recount, while in the Immersion Curriculum this week we will be starting a two week block of work on America through Geography.
