This Week in Belted Galloway Class

We are already in Week 5 of this 7 week term! This week the children will be starting new blocks of work in a number of areas. In English, they will be completing their narrative block of work inspired by the animation RUIN, and beginning a unit on persuasive writing which will carry us to half term. In maths we will be moving onto multiplication methods and skills, while our immersion curriculum work will be based around a Geography topic this week as we explore the country of Italy, with particular emphasis on different types of maps and what they tell us about the country. If the children are lucky, Mr Beech may even wear his geography shirt for the occasion! In RE we will be continuing our block of work on Hinduism, moving on to explore the idea of karma.
