This Week in Belted Galloway Class

We have made it to our final week on the term, and Belted Galloway is becoming infected with 'Watt a Knight' fever, a condition that makes children sing and act dramatically! This week we are starting our read through of the play, and we will be taking part in some drama work in order to develop the children's confidence and acting skills. The levels of team work and collaboration will need to be really strong when putting a show together, and I know the children will really benefit from it.

In Maths this week we will be solving spatial puzzles using the Ancient Chinese 7 Piece Tangram. The children will need all their persistence and resilience in order to succeed in these activities.

On a separate blog, we will be sharing book reviews from children in Belted Galloway class: this week we will start with Rachel's review of Frost Heart and my review of The Song from Somewhere Else. I will be adding another one each week. These are books that we have really enjoyed reading and we hope that by sharing our reviews, other people will be inspired to try these books out.
