This Week in Belted Galloway Class
This will be an exciting week in Belted Galloway class for a number of reasons. Firstly, we will be holding auditions for the Key Stage 2 production. The children have been learning lines and preparing songs, and we look forward to see how they do. Whatever the outcome, standing up in front of their peers and auditioning is such a brave thing to do, and one that can only help them build their confidence. On Wednesday, we will be having a house GECKO challenge, where the children will have the chance to collaborate and co-operate over solving a range of quite tricky problems. The enthusiasm and effort in the room when we hold a GECKO challenge is amazing to see! On Thursday, two members of Belted Galloway class, Decca and Alice, will be representing their class and school in the county K'NEX STEM Challenge at Renishaw. It is wonderful and apt that, during a time where females careers in engineering in being actively promoted, that the winning members of our class are both girls. We are very proud of their achievements and wish them luck in the final.
