This Week in Belted Galloway Class

We are hoping that this week will signal a partial return to normality in Belted Galloway class, but if not, blended learning will still happen to support children at home until most are back in school. We have sadly had to cancel the visit of a local journalist this week due to the high positive cases in class, but this will be rearranged for a future date. We will still be starting our lock of work on journalistic writing in English, exploring a number of texts and considering the unique structure of a newspaper report as well as the element of bias sometimes seen. In maths we will be exploring angles this week, focussing on calculating angles and measuring angles. We aim to complete our Science block of work on Light and complete extra computing lessons to make up for the sessions lost in previous weeks for unavoidable reaspons.
