This week in Belted Galloway class

Welcome back to a new term in Belted Galloway class. We will be starting the term with a collaborative Maths problem solving challenge: our first activity of the day will be a GECKO challenge. We will then be moving on to calculating with decimals and percentages. In English, we will be continuing our work on tragedy narratives, but we will be modernising our story telling, exploring an animation called Alma and contrasting this with the work we carried out on Macbeth before half term. We will be starting a two-week block of work on Evolution and Inheritance this week as part of our Science, which is a topic that the children will likely find challenging and interesting. We will be spending time considering the value of Forgiveness this week, while we will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday by frequently dropping everything and reading!
