This Week in Belted Galloway Class

This week promises to be an industrious one in Belted Galloway class. It will start with the children completing their block of work on Invaders, which produced some outstanding work that the children are rightfully proud of. We will be moving from History to Geography, will a two week block of work that is outlined on the school website on Marvellous Maps. The children will explore a range of different types of maps, deal with concepts ranging from keys, grid referencing, directions and contour lines, they will calculate scale, and they will get the chance to see Mr Beech in his Geography shirt! The children are also working hard in their Computing topic on spreadsheets: the way they are developing their ability to organise and calculate with their data is really impressive. Maths will see us develop skills of adding, subtracting and multiplying using fractions.
