This Week In Belted Galloway Class

This week we will be started a non-fiction writing topic in English, looking at Non-Chronological reports. We will be considering the structure and layout, and working on practicing the skills needed to write effective NCRs. We will also be starting the week with an extended comprehension task, giving the children a chance to really show what they can do with their comprehension. In maths, we will be looking at Factors and Multiples, and the children are excited to be completing a GECKO challenge on Thursday, where they will get the chance to work collaboratively to solve a range of quite nasty problems! We will be completing our work on Humans in Science, looking at the human life cycle and circulatory system in detail, while in RE we will be looking at ways that Muslims seek guidance in their lives, comparing that to how we seek guidance when we face difficulties in our lives. We will be considering how the Bible offers support and advice through sharing God's word.
