This Week in Belted Galloway Class

We have made it to the final week of the penultimate term at school this academic year, and this will be quite a dramatic one! The children will have the chance to audition for the school production, as well as taking part in a number of drama sessions to build up to this. We will be beginning a block of work in computing, using 3D media, which combines artistic, technological and design skills. We will be further exploring our class novel, October October, which looks a the life of a diverse family who live off-grid, and the opportunities for deep discussion from this will be extensive. This week we will also complete our latest GECKO challenge, where the children will try their best to solve a selection of fiendish maths problems, working in their teams and verbalising their ideas.
