This Week in Belted Galloway Class

It's the last week of term, and even though it's been a short one, it feels like we have packed so much into it. I'm sure we are all ready for a break! Highlights of this week were the Music Showcase in Cheltenham Town Hall where the children showed off their new-found ukulele skills. It was such a thrill to see them perform on stage in such an iconic venue which has seen so many famous names perform on. Tuesday's highlight was performing in the school hall to parents and pupils, and it made me full of wonder about how far they have come in 10 weeks. Wednesday saw another performance: this time, it was performance poetry as part of the Easter service, and the children's words were deep, poignant and thoughtful. We have pushed ourselves to get things finished as the week has come to a close, and it has been amazing to see how focussed and resilient the children were until the very end of term.
