This week in Belted Galloway
This week in Belted Galloway class we will be combining drama and sport for a large chunk of the week. Our sports leaders were planning to help run a Reception and Key stage 1 multi-sport event on Tuesday, but sadly this has been postponed due to the poor weather forecast. Tuesday night also sees many of our class representing the school in the district sports event, while in school we will be having trials and selecting races for Friday's sports day. The children may even have the chance to see if they can beat Mr Beech in a race!
We will be stepped up our show practices, aiming to rely less and less on scripts, adding actions to our songs, and having more drama workshops with Miss Waugh and Mr Stanhope, who have really inspired our children.
The children will also be flexing their artistic muscles as they design tickets and programme covers for our show.
