The Week In Belted Galloway Class

This week we will be heading off to PGL in Boreatton Park, Shropshire, for a week of challenge, team-building, fun and hopefully glorious weather. It will be such a great opportunity for the year 5 and year 6 pupils to reconnect, and we will all learn a great deal about each other through a series of activities that will include canoeing, orienteering, archery and the high ropes. All children have different strengths and weaknesses, and seeing how they develop in their abilities to support each other will be really interesting.

We will be moving our RE learning forward in our studies of Islam by allowing the children to deepen their understanding of the Five Pillars of Islam by creating their own religious metaphor that reflects their views about life. We will relate this to our Vision Wheel.
