Safer Internet Day in Friesian Class

Safer Internet Day was on the 8th February last week. The theme for Safer Internet 2022 focused on exploring respect and relationships online. In Friesian Class, we have already completed an Immersion Curriculum topic focused on Social Issues and Internet Safety, as well as online bullying being our unit of Internet safety for Computing. Safer Internet Day gave us an opportunity to re-cap our knowledge about staying safe online and how we can respect others whilst enjoying spending time online. We combined this consolidation of knowledge with our new found love of photo editing from our Computing unit this term. The children used their skills to create online safety displays to help other children to stay safe online. I was very proud of the children's mature responses, as well as their concentration and efforts to utilise new-found, tricky skills. Well done Friesian Class!
