This week in Hereford Class

This week in Hereford we are completing PSHE where we are looking at class rules and why we have them. We will be looking at how we can make a positive contribution to the life of the classroom and school. We will also be looking at communities and groups, including those that we belong to. Look out for our blogs at the end of the week where we will detail what we have learnt.

In maths we are finishing our unit on subtraction and will be moving onto commutativity with Y2 and the use of +, - and = symbols with Y1.

In English we have finished writing our non-chronological reports about the seasons, linking to science and will be moving onto the story of 'Not now Bernard', one of Miss Holden's favourites. We will learn the story, retell it and innovate it, changing the characters.

Well done to all of the children who took part in the Harvest Festival on Church on Sunday and thank you to Mrs Smith who organised this for us.
