This week in Dexter Class

This week in Dexter class we will be looking again at some of the trickier digraphs and trigraphs in our phonics lessons.

We are looking forward to sharing some of the children's writing when we attend a writing moderation with other schools in our cluster group.

In maths, we will be looking at both adding and subtracting, and will be trying to solve problems involving sharing having read 'The Doorbell Rang', a book by Pat Hutchins.

We will, as ever, be using the children's interests to lead our learning throughout the week, though will also be continuing our work based on the book 'Owl Babies' by Martin Waddell.

On Monday, we will be welly walking and will be creating birds' nests and owls made from salt dough which will be decorated with natural resources that we find.

If your child would like to buy a ticket for the Comic Relief raffle, run by one of Friesian class, then please send in £1. There are a multitude of prizes!
