This week in Belted Galloway

This week, children in Belted Galloway class will be taking part in maths assessments, where they will have the chance to show the progress they have made this term. Alongside this, they will continue to develop their calculation using decimals, focusing particularly on dividing whole numbers by decimals - something I never did until well into secondary school! Friday's maths lesson will culminate with our GECKO challenge, where the children will work collaboratively and co-cooperatively to solve a range of demanding problems. It will be a lovely way to end the term.

We look forward to seeing some of you at Fantastic Friday at the end of the week, where you will have the chance to look at your children's work. A particular point of interest will be the ongoing science fiction stories the children are developing in English.
