This week in Hereford Class

We are finishing off our letter writing in English and have continued writing letters for different purposes: a thank you letter; a post card and finally a complaint. We are continuing our topic of fractions where we are looking at shapes. Y1 are identifying halves and quarters whilst Y2 are identifying these as well as thirds and three quarters.

I was over the moon to see how much the children had learned in RE. Comparing Islam to Christianity - the detail and facts that the children have remembered and recording was absolutely amazing! Well done Hereford Class.

We will finish our puppets this week, with a dedicated morning lesson to ensure that they are finished so our fairy tale characters can come home with us.

We are lucky enough to be having a whole afternoon of PE on Friday. Hereford class is being decorated in the half term and furnished with brand new chairs and tables. We can't wait to see the finished product.

Please remember it is Fantastic Friday from 8.45am until 9.30am, which will be followed by Golden Book. We hope that you can join us and share the work we have done this term.
