This week in Belted Galloway

This week, Belted Galloway class will begin our latest computing topic, where we will be learning how to use the text-based programming language Python. This will prove to be both interesting and challenging for the children, so they will be able to exercise their learning powers. In Science, we will be exploring gravity, and using this concept to compare the ideas of mass and weight, linked to using a Newton meter.

We will continue our work on fractions and non-chronological reports in maths and English respectively, whilst closing in on the end of our class novel, The Last Wild. It is really wonderful to see all children willing to read to the class, share ideas and express views while reading this book: their comprehension skills have also really improved.
