This week in Belted Galloway

Christmas is coming and Belted Galloway are busy learning a number of traditional Christmas carols to sing at the infants' Nativity service at the church next week. We hope many of you will be there to join us.

This week will start with a GECKO challenge for the children in maths: this is a collaborative and co-operative problem solving activity that is bound to bring about competitivity, team work, perseverance and challenge. As the week progresses, we will be looking at factors and multiples, leading to prime numbers, as well as completing our work on BIDMAS (the order of operations). Children will also have the chance to enter our '4 fours' calculation challenge: the deadline is Friday.
