This week in Hereford Class

What a beautifully, sunny way to start the week!

This week we have started to look at adding money, recognising the coins and giving change. We understand that there are 100 pennies in £1 and we have used this knowledge to calculate different totals of coins.

We have finished writing our letter as Max from the book 'where the wild things are' and we will be writing our own letter, in full, showing how much we have learned about the content and the structure that we have been taught.

In RE we are looking at Hanukkah and understanding the story as well as the traditions and celebrations.

Our trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park has been confirmed and links in well to our health and well-being week. Research shows that petting an animal is good for our mental health. We have booked an educational workshop, which we are looking forward to. Look out for a letter which will be in children's book bags once we have totaled the costings of the trip.
