This week in Dexter Class

This week in Dexter class, some of us will be focusing on the digraphs and trigraphs that are trickier to remember, whilst others will be learning how to edit work, by spotting mistakes and correcting them. We have been sent some more postcards and will be looking at maps and books to find out what the world is like in these places. In maths, we will be continuing with our rapid recall challenges and having read the book 'A fair bear share', we will be focusing on sharing equally and partitioning numbers into groups of ten and ones.

The children have been writing lots of questions for those that will join us next September and have started to think about how things will be done in Year 1. Later this term, Miss Holden will come in and teach the children, so that they can get to know her a bit better.

We hope to be welly walking on Wednesday afternoon, so please ensure that your child has long, light weight trousers to protect them from stings and ticks, as well sensible shoes/wellies.
